Bone Yard — Field Rules

Last updated: June 2025

A proper dig runs by a field code — it protects the site and keeps every find in context. These are Bone Yard's field rules. By picking up a brush, you agree to work by them.

The site

Bone Yard is a free, browser-based memory card game. Unearth fossil pairs, build your exhibition score, and fill the museum. No payment. No account.

All diggers welcome

Players of every age are welcome at the site. Bone Yard is non-violent, gambling-free, and appropriate for all audiences.

Exhibition score

Points accumulate per matched pair, with a find multiplier for consecutive successes. Exhibition scores are session-only and carry no monetary value.

No wagering on the dig

Bone Yard contains no virtual currency, no loot systems, no betting mechanics, and no randomised prizes.

Intellectual property

All game assets belong to their creators. Personal play is permitted. Commercial use requires prior written consent.

Prohibited conduct

Automated bots, exploit tools, and deliberate disruption of other diggers' sessions are strictly prohibited.

No guaranteed find

Bone Yard is provided as-is. We hold no liability for indirect losses from gameplay or service outages.

Rule revisions

These rules may change. The date above marks the current version. Continued play is acceptance.
